Sefa Partnerships update: Kick Starter 2020 participants kick off!

We are excited to announce the new cohort of social entrepreneurs that are taking part in the Macquarie Group Foundation Kick Starter program in 2020.

Postponed in March, the program is now going ahead in a new online format. We have participants from all around Australia taking part, with entrepreneurs from WA and SA alongside those from NSW, QLD and VIC. Participants will be matched with mentors from Macquarie Group and develop a business plan to get them investment ready. They will also take part in various capacity building workshops focusing on governance, financial modelling and problem solving.

At the end of the program all participants will submit their business plan to a panel and two lucky finalists will have the opportunity to win a $10k grant from the Macquarie Group Foundation. We wish them all well, and we know they will develop new supportive friendships with fellow entrepreneurs, as well as build networks, that will continue past the life of the program. You can read about the impact this amazing program has had on past participants in our review of the Kick Starter program.
